The secondary school helps shape the overall personality of the students. The students of this section are in the age range of 12-16 years of age, the age of adolescence where physical, psychological and social transition happens. Therefore it is imperative that the students are motivated and encouraged to develop positive habits and also study hard in order to achieve their life goals.
The school has highly qualified and dedicated teachers who make learning exciting and easy for the students. We have excellent library facilities too. Students with exemplary academic records are given special guidance so that they can fare better. Similarly, students with learning difficulties are trained extra through remedial classes in order to enable them to be more confident and cope with their problems successfully.
Apart from the academics, we conduct various activities / competitions for all round development of the child. Students are motivated to participate actively for inter-school competitions as well. Every effort is made to acquaint the students with the latest happenings through assembly, seminars, workshops and various other activities held regularly.
Students are trained and encouraged for the elementary and intermediate drawing examinations and the Homi Bhabha Bal Vaidnyanik Spardha along with active participation at various competitions held at Ward, District and Zonal levels.
Right from Std VIII, the SSC pattern of question papers is followed and the students are thereby trained for the Board Exams. Parents are well informed in order to create awareness amongst them. Experts from various fields are invited to address the students and the parents.
Every January, study camps of 12 days (7:00 am to 7:00 pm) are arranged for Class X students where they experience a healthy study environment, free of any distractions to inspire them for their upcoming board examinations.
The School follows Continuous Comprehensive evaluation pattern as prescribed by the Maharashtra State Board. The Evaluation Pattern is divided into Formative – an internal assessment where the child is evaluated continuously throughout the academic year and Summative – evaluation through written examinations (semester pattern).
